Digital Watermarking and Steganography
Put together by Fabien Petitcolas. The idea is to modify a few pixels slightly, still not visible to the human eye, and spread them out. Not detectable by man nor machine by anyone except the one who put the watermark there, yet proof of ownership in court. Here's a page with a ton of links:
